More About this Retreat
Situated in the heart of an ancient medieval borgo, Castello di Tabiano lies among the rolling hills of Emilia-Romagna. Surrounded by nature and rich in history, it offers a beautiful setting to slow down, step away from everyday life, and experience the charm of the Italian countryside.
During the retreat, guests will stay at La Finetta, one of the historic farmhouses of the Castello di Tabiano estate. Carefully restored while preserving its original character, La Finetta offers modern comfort, a beautiful garden with a centuries-old elm tree, and panoramic views across the surrounding landscape, creating a warm and welcoming setting for the retreat.
Throughout the retreat, guests will enjoy three meals a day, freshly prepared by Asia, our Italian chef using seasonal, locally sourced, zero-kilometre ingredients whenever possible. Set in the heart of Italy’s renowned Food Valley, the region is celebrated for some of the country’s finest culinary traditions, offering an opportunity to experience the richness and authenticity of Italian food through fresh, high-quality ingredients and the flavours.
In keeping with the intention of the retreat, the experience will be entirely alcohol-free. This is not about restriction, but about creating the space to step away from everyday habits and reconnect with yourself in a more conscious and meaningful way. By choosing not to include alcohol, we invite greater clarity, presence, and a deeper connection to the experience, to our bodies, and to one another.
Each day will include morning meditation and yoga, yoga philosophy, mindful movement, local visits and experiences, free time to rest and enjoy the surroundings, and the option to book an on-site massage with Angela, our physiotherapist and massage specialist.
The full retreat programme will be shared soon. In the meantime, feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. I look forward to sharing this experience with you.
