Yoga Retreat in Italy
Small-group yoga and wellness retreats in the Parma countryside, curated and led by Natalia Garlippe, combining daily yoga, meditation, mindful movement, local food, nature and authentic Italian experiences.
This yoga retreat experience takes place in the hills of Parma, offering a quieter and more authentic side of Italy, a place that feels like Tuscany, yet remains untouched by the crowds.
Just a short distance from Milan, the landscape opens into rolling hills, open skies, and a slower rhythm of life. It’s here that I guide each retreat, in a carefully selected setting chosen for its beauty, stillness, and connection to nature.
The experience unfolds within a historic medieval borgo, where time seems to slow down and the atmosphere naturally invites you to disconnect from daily life and reconnect with yourself.
Each day begins gently, with yoga and meditation in the fresh morning air. As the day opens, there is space to rest, walk through the surrounding nature, or simply pause and enjoy the quiet. There is no rigid schedule, only a rhythm that allows you to slow down and return to what feels essential.
My teaching is shaped by more than 15 years of international experience, having lived and taught in France, Italy, Rio de Janeiro, and Singapore. Through this journey, I’ve developed an approach that sees yoga as a complete tradition, not only as a physical practice, but also as a path of philosophy, awareness, and presence.
Part of this experience is also a deeper connection to the place itself. During Yoga & Wellness Retreats in Italy, I invite you to discover Parma and the surrounding region not as a visitor, but through simple and meaningful encounters with the local culture. Whenever possible, we connect with the people of the land, sharing moments that reflect its traditions, its rhythm, and its way of living. I invite you to discover Italy not as a visitor, but through simple and meaningful encounters with the local culture.
This may take the form of experiences such as a traditional cooking class with local hosts, where food becomes a way to gather, learn, and connect. These moments are not staged, but emerge naturally from the environment and the people who make it unique.
This is not a retreat about doing more, but about slowing down. It is a space where yoga, nature, and Italian culture come together in a way that feels grounding, authentic, and deeply restorative.
